This is my sixth year of teaching at Jesus Our Savior Preschool. I live on a farm near Bancroft. My husband Duane and I have been blessed with six children and
one son-in-law. Their names are Jennifer (married to Aaron), Christopher, Brandon, Zachery, Jessica, and Jerrica. We also PRAISE THE LORD for our four wonderful grand-children – AJ, Lucas, Faith, and Savannah Grace. Praising the Lord for His gifts!
Thank you for sharing your children with me this school year. I am excited to teach your child! We have a special year planned for your children. I feel very blessed to be their preschool teacher. We will make memories and grow together as we learn more about the love of God and the world that He made.
If you have any questions or concerns, you may reach me at the preschool during the hours of 8:30 am. to 4 pm. Phone number: 402-878-2110 OR my email address is email@example.com.
The Lutheran Church’s excellent educational system has been educating students for over 160 years. The Lutheran School system reaches over 255,000 students nationwide. It is the largest Protestant school system in the United States. There are over 2,450 preschools, elementary and middle schools, high schools, colleges, universities, and seminaries that make up LCMS schools nationwide.
In a recent study released by the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), also known as “The Nation’s Report Card”, in five of the eight categories Lutheran Schools finished in first place (Including Reading and Science). In the other three (Including Math) Lutheran schools finished second.
More than 2,300 early childhood centers and preschools are operated by congregations and Christian day schools within The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. More than 129,000 children, ranging in age from infant/toddler to five years of age, are involved in these programs.
At Jesus Our Savior Lutheran Preschool, we view each child, as one for whom Christ suffered and died and rose again. Our purpose is to convey the Love of Jesus to each child, daily.
We limit our class size so that each child can have one on one time each day. Small classes make it easier for our young students to adapt to the educational setting.
We offer children an excellent, Christ-centered education, which includes daily Bible lessons and memory work. This provides a firm foundation for life.
Ho-Chunk Language teachers visit our preschool classes on a weekly basis. Those lessons are reinforced by Mrs. Tietz each day.
Each Wednesday, Pastor Jacob has a special chapel service for the preschool children. Included are hymns, a Bible message, The Lord's Prayer in English and Ho-Chunk, memory work, and a prayer request opportunity. Children assist with lighting the candles. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Because of our small class size, we are able to conduct lots of hands-on science experiments and projects throughout the school year.
Mrs. Tietz has 6 children and four grandchildren. She loves kids and she loves to have fun. This is a winning combination when it comes to teaching. The children know that she loves them and is excited to be teaching them. That is why they love to come to preschool.
Each day our students are served a healthy snack with milk or juice
to make sure their little bodies are nourished and ready to learn.
Pastor Jacob is the spiritual leader for our preschool, He conducts daily devotions with Mrs Tietz, and weekly chapel for the children. In addition, he is a mentor to the children whenever he has opportunity.
Our preschool is well-equipped with toys, games, puzzles, books and even a loft. Each day is a new adventure as new toys are brought out and old ones put away.
How old does my child have to be to start preschool?
We accept students who have turned three years of age, and are no longer in diapers.
